This marks the 8th year since Donovan's resignation. She finally gets an answer regarding whether or not her association, which was her "sole bargaining agent" throughout her employment, had a duty to represent her in these matters.

Following the January 14th hearing, the proceeding concluded and the arbitrator reserved his decision. This decision is expected to be released at some point in 2025, and will be posted here.
8 Years of Retaliation
In December, 2024, Kelly filed a new lawsuit against the Waterloo Regional Police Service that covers the past 8 years of retaliation she has faced. Their Statement of Defence is due June 12, 2025. UPDATE: The new suit is on hold pending the HRTO being given one more chance to do the right thing and hear the matters.
Is the HRTO Complicit?
On July 11th, I sent one final request to the HRTO to finally schedule hearings, or even a teleconference call, in these matters to finally get things moving, after a 3-year hiatus. Here was their response (after 69 days). As a result, I wrote an open letter and sent it to the Registrar on September 24, 2025.
